~~     Pastor Rod is away from Friday 24 - 26 for the North Saskatchewan Youth Retreat. If you need pastoral care please contact the Grace Office for Pastor Rudy Pastucha's contact information.

 

~~     Please note the AGM in on November 26th, immediately following service!!

 

~~     Church council would like to request special donations to be offered to cover the costs of the Reformation sign, plus the loss the church has experienced on Sept.30/17, as shown in the Oct.15/17 offerings report. The sign cost approximately $1,000 and the loss to date is over $8,000. All donations will be gratefully accepted.

 

~~     You are invited to a free Come and Go Nativity Display Open House at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1405-31st St. W., (1 block East of Ave. P) Saskatoon on November 25, 10:00 am-3:00 pm.  Get into the season by coming out to view dozens of nativity scenes, hear Christmas music and eat some goodies.  There will be activities for the youth.     Everyone is welcome.

 

~~    Youth From Confirmation – Grade 12 students are cordially invited to the North Saskatchewan Youth Retreat! Please contact Pastor Rod for more details and a registration form.

 

~~     Community Outreach – Thank you to everyone who donated and helped for Saturday’s clothing drive. It is very much appreciated

 

~~    Annual Voters Meeting November 26 following Sunday Service Council asks for your prayers and attendance at the annual meeting. There are a few positions to be filled. Prayerfully consider volunteering. Nominating committee is Earl, Lorence and John.

 

~~     The Spirtiual Care offices at RUH and City are now closed. If you need pastoral care while you are in the hospital please call the office or 306-649-2212 outside of office hours. Also, to assist Pastor Rod when you call please let him know which hospital you are in and your room number, and whether you desire a visit, and/or prayer.

 

~~     It is time to update our email roll call again. Please provide Heather with your most current email address and your permission to use it to contact you for special events such as Christmas, Easter and other special services or events.

  

~~     This year is Pastor Rod's Attendance Challenge Year: the goal is to attend one more Sunday each month than the month previous! Prayerfully look at your attendance and challenge yourself this year!

 

~~     This week's Evangelism Tip is prayer for yourself and others: Pray for opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, perseverance in sharing, and pray for receptive hearers.

 

~~     Lunch with Pastor Rod is being expanded to include coffee now that Fall has arrived!

  

~~     Do you like throwing rocks at houses?  Well, here is the opportunity that you have been waiting for!  The Saskatoon Church Curling League invites you to join us on Wednesday nights at 8:45 pm at the Granite Curling Club.  Be a regular curler or a spare….whatever you wish!
