Missions
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! – 1 Chronicles 16:24
Being involved in mission work is vital to Grace Lutheran Church. In Hebrews, we are instructed to “… not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (Hebrews 13:16). It is our honour as a congregation, and as Christians to support the work of Lutheran Church–Canada, as well as specific international, national, and local organizations. We select our projects on an annual basis.
Recent mission work includes:
- Cereal drive for Sutherland School breakfasts
- Saskatoon Food Bank
- Clothing collection for the Catholic Women’s League (located at Friendship Inn)
- LAMP – Lutheran Association of Missionary Pilots
- Concordia Seminary, Edmonton – Adopt a Student Program
We also support both the domestic and international Mission works of Lutheran Church–Canada
